Looks cool! How long will it stay up? Do the Post-its hold OK on the wall? What if it rains? (I don't know where you are located, so I don't know if you get much rain.). Can you/will you use the Post-its for something when the mural comes down?
It will probably stay up the rest of the year. I had the kids add tape under the bottom of each post-it, and they are actually on bulletin board roll paper, not straight onto the wall. The picture is deceiving, that is actually inside, on our atrium wall. When the school was remodeled they used some of the original outside wall in the atrium to preserve some of the school's history. It's snowing right now (2 hour late start) so it probably would have been ruined if it was outside. Most of the post-its are pretty trashed, so I won't be using them, but we might be able to move it to another location, or leave it up for a while longer than just this year. We had orientation for next year's kindergarteners yesterday and one of our new parents works for 3M. She was taking photos of it and is possibly going to donate supplies for next year's art show! :)
What a great work of art you have here. Kudos to the children who have brilliant minds and creative outlook for this exceptionally beautiful artwork. The children should be taught right on how to manage their skills and keep it until they become experts in the own field of specification.
